The Nurse’s Office at Queens Collegiate is conveniently located on the first floor, right next to the library. Our school nurse provides immediate basic care, assessment, and comfort for students who are feeling unwell or experience minor injuries during the school day. Typical care includes taking temperatures, offering ice packs and bandages, and discussing symptoms to help determine how best to support the student.

To maintain student safety and comply with health regulations, the nurse cannot administer medication to students without authorized medical documentation on file. Instead, when a student is feeling too ill to remain in class, the nurse’s primary role is to evaluate their condition and contact a parent or guardian to arrange for pick-up. If your child has specific medical needs or requires health accommodations during school hours, please reach out to the medical office to submit the required medical forms.
